Every project starts with scoping. We figure out exactly what needs to happen, identify potential risks, and build a realistic timeline. Then we quote it. Our quotes are comprehensive, not lowball estimates that balloon later.
During the project, you get a dedicated project manager and direct access to the engineers doing the work. We communicate proactively. You'll always know where things stand.
We've refined our project methodology over two decades of delivery. It's not complicated, but it's thorough. We front-load the planning so execution goes smoothly. We test before we deploy. We document everything.
Most project failures happen because of poor scoping or inadequate testing. We're obsessive about both. The discovery phase isn't something we rush through to get to the "real work". It is the real work. Getting it right means the rest flows.
Projects begin with discovery and scoping, where we assess your current environment, understand requirements, identify risks, and define exactly what success looks like. This produces the scope document and quote. From there we move into design and planning, building out technical architecture, project timelines, resource allocation, and change management planning. We identify dependencies and build contingencies.
Before anything touches your production systems, we build and test in our lab or a staging environment. Pilots with small user groups where appropriate. Only when everything checks out do we proceed to deployment, with scheduled cutover windows, clear rollback procedures, communications, user training, and hypercare support immediately post-deployment. The project isn't done until handover is complete: full documentation, knowledge transfer to your team, and warranty period support until you're comfortable running things yourself.
Twenty years of project delivery means we've seen most things before. We know which migrations are straightforward and which have hidden complexity. We know what vendors promise versus what their products actually do. We know the shortcuts that seem clever but cause problems later.
Our engineers hold current Microsoft certifications across the full stack. We're not learning on your project. We're applying expertise we've built over hundreds of similar engagements. After more than 500 completed projects, we've developed a track record of delivering on time and on budget over 95% of the time.
We also understand that technical success isn't the same as project success. A migration that finishes on time but leaves users confused isn't a win. We think about adoption, training, and change management as part of every project.
Some clients come to us for a single project and that's exactly right for them. They have strong internal IT and just needed specialist help for something specific. We're happy with that.
Other clients start with a project and realise they'd rather have us handle more. Many of our managed IT relationships began with a migration or security project. There's no pressure either way. We'll be equally happy to hand you back to your internal team or to discuss an ongoing arrangement.
We also work alongside other IT providers when needed. If you have a partner for some things but need additional expertise for a specific project, we can collaborate without stepping on toes.
