Internet your business can lean on.
Everything you have moved to the cloud arrives through one cable, so the connection is no longer a utility, it is the floor your business stands on. This page walks you through how we assess, order and cut over a business connection: what the options mean in plain language, why carrier lead times drive the calendar, and how the switch happens without an outage.
Five phases, zero downtime.
The mapAssessment
No chargeWhat do you have, what does it cost, and what does your work actually need? A business on cloud apps, video calls and VoIP has different needs from one that mostly browses. We measure what your current connection really delivers, not what the plan name promises, and check what is available at your address.
- A recent bill and your current contract's end date
- The pain: what slows down, and when
- How much your business loses per hour when the internet is down; that number sizes the answer
Choose the connection
Price is fixed hereWe put the realistic options side by side in plain language: business fibre with a proper service-level agreement, a backup connection that takes over automatically if the main one fails, and for multi-site businesses, SD-WAN to join sites and manage failover. You choose with the trade-offs visible, and the monthly price is fixed before anything is ordered.
- The connection, its speed and its service-level agreement, in plain words
- Failover: what happens in a cut, and how fast
- Monthly cost next to your current one
- Realistic carrier lead times, stated up front
- The resilience call: is a backup connection worth it for you
- Landlord consent if the building needs new cabling
New fibre can take days or weeks depending on the address and whether the building needs work. We lodge the order, chase it, and keep you told, and your current connection stays on until the new one is live and proven. Planning an office move? Order the connection first; it is the longest lead item in the whole move.
Order & provisioning
We chase, you workWe place the order and manage the carrier: the site visits, the installation appointment, the paperwork. If an installer needs access, we coordinate it. Nothing about your current service changes during this phase.
- Building access for the carrier's installer on the appointed day
- Do not cancel the old connection; we time that after cutover
Cutover
With overlapThe new connection is installed and tested alongside the old one: speed measured, failover rehearsed, VoIP and cloud apps proven on it. Then the network switches over, usually in minutes and outside your busy hours. Only once the new connection has run cleanly do we cancel the old service.
- New connection tested under real load before anything switches
- The office cut across in a small, scheduled window
- Old service cancelled only after the new one is proven
Managed & monitored
OngoingThe connection joins your managed environment: monitored so we usually know about a fault before you call, managed with the carrier when something needs escalating, and reviewed as your business grows. If a failover connection is part of the design, it is tested on a schedule, not discovered broken during an outage.
- Monitoring and carrier escalation handled by us
- Failover tested on a schedule
- Capacity reviewed as the business and its cloud use grow
What you can hold us to.
Both ways- A measured comparison, not a plan-name comparison
- Lead times stated honestly, and the carrier chased by us
- The old connection kept until the new one is proven under load
- Faults noticed by monitoring, usually before you feel them
- A real bill and contract dates for the comparison
- Building access on installation day, and landlord consent where needed
- Leave the old service cancellation to us
