Ongoing Microsoft 365 Global Security Improvements
Microsoft announced there are some important security improvements being made globally that will affect your organisation. Microsoft have said they will begin actively blocking accounts licensed as users which aren’t a single user, such as Boardroom and role-based accounts as these are incompatible with modern authentication such as multifactor and biometrics. This means that it is crucial to ensure that every person in your organisation has a unique user account. In addition Microsoft is removing legacy authentication, which means that changes will be required to the way websites, copiers, and apps send emails. We are available to make the necessary changes and work with your vendors to get them implemented.
Together with Microsoft, we’re actively working with organisations to move over from legacy Basic and Standard plans that lack these security features that are important today, across to the Business Premium plan to enable them to take advantage of this.
